SpaceX has Given up Trying to Catch Rocket Fairings. Fishing Them out of the Ocean is Fine
Given their success at landing and reusing rockets, it seemed likely they would be able to continue to improve on their effectiveness and cacth fairings as well. Seems like that was a step too far in the end.
