Yes, there is now a way to get to the stars by using vast quantities of urine. There are bacteria that convert some of the chemicals found in urine into hydrazine, one of the various types of chemical rocket fuel that is currently in use.
While this sounds rather impractical in terms of generating enough energy to get a rocket beyond the scope of Earth’s gravitational pull, using micro-generators powered by it once humans reach the stars is much more practicable. After all, on Earth most country houses have small generators attached in event of power failure. Why not use something similar in space?
