Discovery launch set for today; ATV docks with ISS; Taurus launch scrubbed

Shuttle Discovery is set for launch today at 4:50:27 pm EST: STS-133 | Mission Status Center – Spaceflight Now. === The European ATV cargo carrier “Johannes Kepler” docked successfully this morning with the ISS: Ariane Launch Report | Mission Status Center – Spaceflight Now.

The ISS now has six spacecraft connected to it: the ATV, the Japanese HTV, two Russian Soyuz and two Progress vehicles.

Another launch attempt will be made on Friday morning at 2:09 a.m. PST (5:09 a.m. EST): Taurus Launch Report | Mission Status Center – Spaceflight Now.

[Update: SpaceflightNow says on Tweeter that the Taurus launch has now been postponed till early March.]
