It appears that NASA has culled the proposals for the second phase of the Comercial Crew Development (CCDev) program down to six: NASA Picks Six [Seven] Companies to Discuss CCDev 2 Proposals – SpaceNews.com.
The six include: /– Blue Origin /– Boeing (CST-100) /– Orbital Sciences Corp. (Prometheus lifting body) /– Sierra Nevada Corp. (Dream Chaser) /– SpaceX /– United Launch Alliance (ULA) – mods to Atlas V for launching crew vehicles
Note that this list does not include the USA commercial shuttle study or the ATK/Astrium Frankenrocket.
Update: Space News later changed the article to include ATK. So the Frankenrocket lives up to its name…
