We only know they’re there because we can feel them in the dark… Feel their gravity, that is. Like a hide-and-go-seek game played on a moonless summer’s night, we only know that black holes and dark matter exist because we can feel the mass tagging us from beyond what our eyes can see. Are there monsters out there? Massive black holes have been found in galaxies with massive dark matter halos – but it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re in league with each other.
