A transorbital railroad to Mars

It’s based around the idea of using government incentives to lower the cost and create incentives for interplanetary travel, in the same way that the government once opened the West. In this case by purchasing flights from SpaceX and reselling those at extremely low cost, letting NASA bear most of the cost burden. Its a lot cheaper than their current method, and holds some promise.
