Falcon 9 engine test underway

The Falcon 9 static fire test webcast has opened. The countdown is for a firing at 12:45 pm ET.

The latest report at Falcon Launch Report | Mission Status Center – Spaceflight Now, says,

> The strongback structure at the launch pad has been retracted away from the Falcon 9 rocket and the fueling procedure is underway at Complex 40.

Update: After a hold of about 15 minutes the countdown proceeded and the engines ignited around 1:00 pm. Looked OK but will have to wait for word from SpaceX as to whether all 9 engines performed as desired.

Update 2: Chris Bergin of NASASpaceflight.com a few minutes ago posted this on Twitter:

> SpaceX Falcon 9 Aborted due to high chamber pressure on one engine Trying to recycle for another attempt today. 3pm the range limit.
