Eliminate funding for commercial spaceflight [$1.B]
So the brilliant people on the deficit panel advocate saving $1.2B by eliminating NASA’s commercial spaceflight program while letting NASA continue to spend several billions on its internal rocket project, which will also cost NASA billions annually to operate assuming it ever actually reaches operational status. Makes you wonder about their recommendations in other areas.
