Elon Musk’s SpaceX rocket company has raised an additional $50 million in investment, according to an SEC filing dated today. The latest round of funding raises the amount invested in the company to $200 million.
A company official told Silicon Alley Insider that the funds came from existing investors. CrunchBase indicates that the company had raised $150 million in funds previously, including:
Elon Musk: $100M The Founders Fund: $20 million Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Scott Banister: 30.4 million
